Hummingbirds

 Hummingbirds is a new boardgame from The OP. Designed by Jason Tremblay, the designer of Tacta, Hummingbirds is a resource and time management game. Players move their birds to perch on hidden sand timers, attempting to collect the most nectar.  If you check the timer on which your bird is perched and it has run out, you gain a token.  If the time is still running, you lose a token. You may think you know how long 30 seconds is but are you sure?

The mythical Bikeboss, Wazzdakka Gutsmek, explodes from the ancient pages of obscurity unto the fabled world of Armageddon. Wazdakka has existed in the background of Warhammer 40,000 for years, and has even had rules in the past – meaning that any intrepid Mek had an opportunity to kitbash their own Bikeboss. This is the first time that he’s had a miniature though, and he’s racing onto tabletops in glorious plastic.  It’s widely known among Gutsmek’s fellow Speed Freeks that his grand ambition is to race Big Revva from one end of the galaxy to the other, and the new Warzone Battalion: Orks Speed Freeks join him in the fastest WAAAGH! the Warhammer 40,000 universe has ever seen!

Secrets of Strixhaven Pre-releases

 Just a reminder that , in conjunction with Salukicon, we are hosting our Saturday pre-release event there, at 5:30 in the international lounge. Cost is $45 and you can pay your entry fee at our table in the Salukicon dealer hall.  There is an admission fee to Salukicon, though if you are a SIUC student, you get in free.

Our Sunday event will take place as usually at 1 p.m here at the store.

 We brought in the Army Painters SpeedPaint Marker line and have it between two of the Army painter Racks on the floor.   This is a really good product for those suffering from athritis or other things affecting manual dexterity as it allows them to keep painting without having to hold a brush.

Pokemon Cards up 170%

 should you cash in your stocks and invest in Pokmeon Cards?  Well, the value of Pokemon cards over the past year has increased 170% but Scott does not expect them to hold their value over the long term .  Of course, Scott also counseled parents back in the late 1990s not to expect Pokemon cards to hold their value over the long term so take his advice with a grain of salt.

Castle Zagyg

 Lord the store would love to back the Castle Zagyg part 2 kickstarter but unfortuately it written compatible with Castles and Crusades, no 5E material included. We backed part one of the set which came out a couple of years ago and still have 4 of the 6 books on the shelf, so will pass on getting this one. However, if we get 4 people contacting us and putting a down payment on the set, we will back it.  However the books do not release until march of 2027

Overstocks

 due to us having too much Magic bulk and boardgames, we are pausing accepting any more for trade or purchase until our quantities sell down.We are also culling our back issue comics, in anticipation of new shelving in May, so are not accpting any more back issues, save for golden and silver age books.
