The Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon launch is finally here!
This launch set is an amazing added value box that is only available while supplies last. This is the first place that collectors will have to get their hands on all the gorgeous new miniatures for Space Marines and Orks.
The store will host a month long King of Tokyo tournament on Tuesdays in June. Come in and play one or more games of King of Toyko on Tuesdays and report your win to the staff at the register. The player(s) with the most wins on the 26th will receive prizes courtesy of Blue Orange Games and the player with the most wins receives an entry into the national championships at GenCon
In the latest example of AI/LLM problems, the Stardust anthology has been pulled from this year's Eisner Awards ballot by the editor, Van Jensen. After conceiving of the anthology, Jensen put out a call for contributors and one of those contributors, Michael Todasco, contributed an AI/LLM generated 1 page stor under the pseudonym Alex Irons, the name under which Todasco creates his AI generated writings. There was no indication in the crowdfunding campaign for the book that it contained AI generated content and only one referece was made in the book proper.
The Eisner Awards have said the awards will create a policy regarding AI Geenrated work by the time of the 2027 SDCC

If you bring in a large quantity of cards, games, comics, etc to trade/sell, it will take us a while to get through them so if we are busy, we will ask you either to leave them here for us to go through or to bring them back later. It is also a good idea for you to call us ahead of time to see if we will make you an offer on the items and save you a trip. Since we are currently reworking our comic room, we are not looking to to buy any back issues until July. Boardgames we are currently overstocked on as well. We are always interested in role playing games, Magic and Pokemon cards. However, it is best to bring in small numbers of Magic and Pokemon, say 5 to 10 cards so we can get through them quickly and may you an offer.
Got a few complaints on social media and a couple of 1 star reviews on google because of our price on the Prismatic Evolutions set. We would love to price them at the same price Game Stop and Wal-mart has them at and if anyone has a contact with the companes they buy prokemon from so that we can get them at the same cost, we would love to get them. Unfortunately, we have to buy them at what our distribution system offers them at and that is not a price that allows us to sell them at the same price that Game Stop and Wal-mart do.
T-shirts have been a really slow seller for us over the years so we are trying something different, a rotating selection of shirts from Armor Class 10. We will bring in half a dozen different designs every quarter so will have new shirts on the rack 4 times a year. The current selection is on the wall in the little monsters room if you want to take a look.
there was a printing issue with DC comics releasing this week, specifically Absolute Batman #20, Absolute Martian Manhunter #11 and Barbara Gordon Breakout #1. All of our copies of Absolute Batman and Absolute Martian Manhunter and most of our copies of Barbara Gordon Breakout are damaged. This is a nationwide problem with most stores reporting damages on all of their copies of those particular books. We are waiting to see how DC Comics wants to handle this and will let you know when we do.
Games Workshop canceled our order of Terror on Devlan sets so we are working to find some for those customers that pre-ordered them. It may take longer and I doubt we will have them for release date but we will get them for those that pre-ordered.

Kill Team dives into a new warzone with Terror on Devlan, a highly anticipated boxed set packed with brand new miniatures for the Tyranids and Astra Militarum, including the long‑awaited return of the Red Terror, now in plastic for the first time. This expansion also introduces an exciting new way to play, letting customers add heavy reinforcements or stage dramatic boss encounters in their games.
Alongside it comes the new Kill Team: Nemesis Operatives book, which allows customers to create their own boss‑scale operatives, plus two individual teams previously available in Kill Team: Shadowhunt, the Murderwing and the Celestian Insidiants.
There are large numbers of fake Pokemon cards out there. We have a few on display in our case, just so you know what to look for. The easiest "tell" is an off center back on the card. A real Pokemon card will have the border the same width all the way around. The texture of "foil" cards is also a giveaway. If the filing ir really smooth, it is likely a fake. also, if the card text does not make sense, it is likely fake. We had a customer bring in a foil Charizard card this weekend and the text referred to burning the opponent's elves. Of course, there are no elves in Pokemon
