In the latest example of AI/LLM problems, the Stardust anthology has been pulled from this year's Eisner Awards ballot by the editor, Van Jensen. After conceiving of the anthology, Jensen put out a call for contributors and one of those contributors, Michael Todasco, contributed an AI/LLM generated 1 page stor under the pseudonym Alex Irons, the name under which Todasco creates his AI generated writings. There was no indication in the crowdfunding campaign for the book that it contained AI generated content and only one referece was made in the book proper.
The Eisner Awards have said the awards will create a policy regarding AI Geenrated work by the time of the 2027 SDCC
