If you purchase 3 , 6 , 9 or 12 of the Ikoria Collector boosters, you will receive an alternate art promo card. Unfortunately, we will not receive them until later in the month so we will keep track of any qualifying purchases of the boosters.
As you may or may not have heard, WOTC announced an error with English collector boosters. The English collector boosters were supposed to contain a chance of getting the Japanese exclusive alternate art cards, but unfortunately they were left out.
To fix the error, WOTC announced they’ll be printing packs of the just Japanese exclusive cards and giving them to stores to pass out to customers at the time of purchase. Here’s what I know:
· These packs will not be available May 15th at release, they’re expected to land to us in late May.
· Each pack will contain 4 cards: 3 non-foil alternate art cards (Mysterious Egg, Dirge Bat, Crystalline Giant) and 1 foil version of one of the three
· You will be given 1 sealed pack of alternate art cards for every 1 Collector Booster Box that you buy
· These packs should be distributed as follows:
o For every 3 collector booster packs a customer buys you give them one random card from the pack
o If a customer buys an entire collector booster box you can give them the full sealed pack
