Both Marvel and DC are reprinting a number of their classic comics, such as the first issue of a notable comic or the first apearance of a character, though why Marvel decided the first appearance of the Puma, a second tier Spider Man foe, deserves a reprint is beyond me. Currnetly, both companies are reprinting their first maxi-series: DC's Crisis on Infinite Earths and Marvel its Secret Wars. One thing I have noticed is that Marvel reprints their books on the slick coated paper used by today's books while DC is using the news print on which comics were commonly printed during that era.

Knight Terrors
DC is suspending publication of most of its regular line of books for the Knight Terrors series this summer of 2 issue mini series. We still have a copy of the Free Comic Book Day preview of the series if you want to take a look at it before deciding which books in the series you want to order.

Joker War
For you comic fans, here is some info from the Joker War storyline:
It was always going to come to this. The Clown Prince of Crime and the Dark Knight Detective go head-to-head for the last time. The Joker has never wanted to win before, he's never wanted his battle with Batman to end, but now his motivation has shifted. He has decided that one way or another, this will be the final chapter to their story. "Joker War" begins here!
Batman #95 by James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez features a cardstock variant cover by Francesco Mattina as well as a 1:25 cardstock variant by Jorge Jimenez in addition to the regular cover.
And don't miss out on Batgirl #47 on FOC this week as well! The Joker is here to have a nice chat with Barbara Gordon! This issue features a variant cover by Terry and Rachel Dodson!

More DC Comic Cancelations
DC has announced the end of physical print run for the following:
House of Whispers ended its print publication with issue #20, released this month. Issues #21 and #22 will be released digitally (on June 2 and July 7, respectively), followed by a collection of the series' final arc.
Lucifer ended its periodical publication with issue #18, released on March 18. Issues #19-24 will be released directly as a collected edition.
There will be no print version for digital-first issues RWBY #7, gen:LOCK #6, and gen:LOCK #7. Collected editions of each series will follow.
