Elementals

 Here is an interesting aside to Bill Willingham's announcement regarding putting Fables in the public domain. Back in th e1990s Comico published his Elemental series. When the company went bankrupt, it, and the rights to Elementals (and those of Rob Liefeld's Youngblood) were sold to Terrific Publications, which has an "interesting" track record in its dealings with creators. One of its stipulations was that, during the epidemic, writers and artists would get only half the agreed upon rate until 90% of the US population was vaccinated. You can read the whole story here.
